"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine, and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers." Acts 2:42

This verse serves as the mission statement for Calvary Chapel of Red Oak. It outlines 4 different areas that the church should be engaged in. So, the question is, "how are we doing?" However, befroe we assess the church as a whole perhaps we should check ourselves. Are you steadfastly continuing in study of God's word? Are you taking the opportunity to fellowship with believers at home and in church? Are you faithful to observe Communion as God's word prescribes? Are you faithful to have others in your home? Are you faithful in prayer? When we can answer this honestly in the affirmative there is no doubt that we, as a church, will better be able to complete our mission. When that happens we will see God do great and wonderful things in our lives and the lives of others in our community.
