Weekly Shepherd to Sheep by Pastor Tim

October 24, 2010

Then Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, "Blessed be he of the LORD, who has not forsaken His kindness to the living and the dead!"  Ruth 2:20

Naomi returned to Bethlehem an empty, broken, and, in her own words, bitter woman. I am not sure she had any indication that her life would get better. However, she knew that the best place to be in time of trouble or plenty was in the place of obedience to God. It was not long, however, that she recognized the hand of God moving on her behalf. During times of difficulty God may seem far away but if you continue to obey Him you will soon see the Hand of God working on your behalf.
